LAUNCHED IN 2010, THE LINE BLENDS HIGH-PERFORMANCE SPORTSWEAR WITH AVANT-GARDE DESIGN, INSPIRED BY TAKAHASHI’S PASSION FOR RUNNING. THE NAME “GYAKUSOU,” MEANING “RUNNING IN REVERSE” IN JAPANESE, REFLECTS BOTH A LITERAL OBSERVATION FROM TOKYO PARKS AND A METAPHOR FOR GOING AGAINST CONVENTION.
