Oakley spent its first two decades making things you wear on your face, so the Time Bomb, launched in December 1998, was the company proving it could machine anything. It was their first watch and it debuted at 1,500 dollars, level with entry-level Swiss watches of the day.
Sculpted X Metal titanium case on the matching titanium bracelet and white dial. The movement is what Oakley called an inertial generator, a Seiko kinetic: no battery to replace, the rotor charges a capacitor from the movement of the wrist. Caseback is marked inertial generator, world movement and 10 bar hydrophobic, with an exhibition window over the movement and serial 002538.
Fits wrists of 19 to 20 cm (7.5 to 7.9 in) comfortably.
One of the small black rubber pads on the caseback is missing, perished with age. This is purely cosmetic and has no effect on the function or safety of the watch.
Comes with the original riveted metal vault box.
Authenticity
Every piece is inspected in hand before it is listed, against the references for that model and production year: engraving and font on the frame or hardware, lens etching and coating, stitching and construction, and the labels and their codes. Pieces that do not hold up are not listed.

- You have 14 days from the day the piece is delivered to change your mind, for any reason or for none, and get your money back.
- Tell us within those 14 days, and send the piece back within 14 days of telling us.
- The piece must come back in the condition it arrived in.
- Return postage is paid by the buyer. If the piece was not as described, we pay it.
- If the piece does not match the description or the photographs, your statutory rights apply on top of the 14 days above.
- Refunds go back to the original payment method within 14 days of the piece reaching us.
